Increases in cleaning frequencies and additional services are available at a recharge rate to the requesting department.

Floors
Hard Floor Refinishing

• Charges for hard floor renovation are 20 cents a square foot, plus a $40.00 set up fee.
• Set-up fee will be waived if more than 1000 square feet are being cleaned.
• Hard floor renovation for office areas is available upon request at a recharge rate, also.

Carpet Shampooing

• Charges for carpet shampooing are 15 cents a square foot, plus a $30.00 set-up fee.
• Set-up fee will be waived if more than 1000 square feet are being cleaned.
• Carpet shampooing for office areas is available upon request at a recharge rate, also.

Special Events

• Extra cleaning requested for special events will be based on a recharge rate
• Advanced scheduling is required
• Additional Services will be charged the Custodial charge out rate of $13.26 per hour
• All charges include labor and supplies

Example:
The Underwater Basket-weaving Department requests to have their office dusted on a one-time basis. Department responsibilities would include removing and replacing items from areas to be dusted.

Custodial Services is not responsible for removing or dusting personal items. The area will be given a through dusting. This includes wall clocks, vents, light fixtures, window ledges, desks, chairs and all flat surfaces that have had the items removed.

The Department would be charged $13.26 for up to an hour. This includes labor and supplies. Inside office window cleaning can be requested for an additional charge.
